The owner, that we know for years, has been very involved in our project, beeing incredibly helpfull and professional and giving us pieces of advice for our future trip.

* replacement of the brake discs and pads
* addition of an extra horn
* replacement of the cardan gussets
* replacement of the suspension bumpers
* installation of the spare wheel under the camper
* installation of a protection plate under the engine
* checking of all the bulbs
* roadworthiness certificate
We're also taking with us spare brake pads, a back brake kit, and air, oil and gasoil filters.
We leave "confident" thanks to this Garage that we warmly recommend.
Towards our long trip, we took the camper to DUE ELLE in Tavarnelle Di Pisa (Italy) for a complete interior service.
DUE ELLE is a big repair workshop specialized in LAÏKA, settled just opposite the LAÏKA factory, wich makes it easy to get original parts, even for old campers as ours.
For some years, we've been visiting them from time to time on our way to Greece for a few repairs.
In addition to their competence and advice, we always had a warm welcome.
In July 2017, we put the camper in their hands for one week for the following repairs:
* replacement of the solar panel
* inspection of the waterproofness
* control of the heating system
* control of the fridge
* replacement of the water boiler
* replacement of the bathroom floor
* replacement of the moskito nets
* checking of the toilet evacuation system
* checking of the electric footboard
* installation of security lockers
* replacement of the back bumper
* replacement of the kitchen water tap
We bought our LAIKA "ECOVIP 3" L in december 1999.
We chose this camper because of its interior layout, its living space, its double floor and its motirisation (Fiat Ducato 2.8 TDI).
During 17 years, we had super week-ends and holidays with it in France, around the Mediterranée as well as in Morocco and Turkey.
We bought it with a solar panel and an awning. We added a bike rack that we won't take along with us.
MAVROS ODYSSEE
